What happens when I skip breakfast? – after long hours of sleep our body needs to fuel up to supply the shortage of glucose in your bloodstream. If you don’t eat breakfast and head out the door with low blood sugar, one organ in particular won’t be operating at full speed: your brain, which requires a steady flow of blood sugar to run effectively. What’s more, is skipping breakfast will lead you eating out more in the later part of the day. One study found that women who usually nixed breakfast were able to take off four pounds – simply by adding a nutritious meal in the morning. Not only, that eating breakfast makes you healthy but can also help you lose weight in the process.
