Not long ago I procured and installed some storm windows. The reason we bought them is the fact that I had a few very old single pane windows and they were very inefficient. They allowed wind and dust inside our house and they just weren’t getting the job done. I selected storm windows due to the fact I wanted an inexpensive alternative which I could mount by myself. What an incredible decision, they look superb, they were a very good price for custom storm windows and the residence is considerably more efficient now. I am so pleased with my purchase. If you have a similar scenario with old single pane windows as I did, get a storm window.
